I joined the National Guard.... It's cool, but everything becomes familiar too soon. The buildings, the people, and phrases. Plus, I've realized just how much I'll be missing my outside life. Before my Mom decided she didn't want me to do anything with my life and pulled me out of school, there was so much room to dream, ya know? I've been in the Guard for three months, now. Still, it occur 'til now that I wasn't gonna be able to just go to a studio, whenever, or just try to find a job, so I can say I'm occupied and on days I didn't work spend my life savings at Rise or Got Sole. At least now, I can reassure myself that I can go to college, and do something better with my life. That is, if the rapping doesn't take off, like I want it. You would think that only "up-standing" americans would join the force. Really, it's a bunch of jerks, emos, and token black kids. Don't get me wrong. There are kids like me....(normal), but still. The others at drill have a horrible attitude about protecting the country. We have our flaws, but it is the land of the FREE.
And nobody made them get up from their porn collection and join, ya know.
